Ghana’s ongoing efforts to expand its medical oxygen infrastructure have reached another major milestone with the arrival of 10 cryogenic storage tanks from Auguste Cryogenics in Slovakia at Tema Port. This delivery, made possible through the support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and JHPIEGO, marks a crucial step forward in improving the country’s capacity to produce and store medical-grade oxygen.
Dr. Daniel Kotei played a central role in leading this phase of the project, guiding its planning, execution, and coordination from procurement to arrival. His technical leadership and commitment to advancing healthcare infrastructure have been instrumental in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of these essential assets.
Through his ongoing work in cryogenic and PSA (Pressure Swing Adsorption) systems, Dr. Kotei continues to drive innovation and strengthen access to oxygen across Ghana and other parts of Africa. His contributions reflect a broader mission to equip healthcare facilities with the tools and technology needed to save lives and build sustainable oxygen systems.
The successful delivery of these tanks represents another leap forward in Ghana’s goal to provide consistent, reliable medical oxygen to hospitals and treatment centers nationwide.
